The main downstairs room has an open plan layout, with beamed ceiling.
There is a comfortable lounge at one end.
There is a television with DVD player attached.
A wood-burning stove is available for colder weather.

At the other end of the room is a dining table. |

The separate kitchen contains an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, sink and all the usual cooking implements.
We have twice cooked a Christmas-holiday dinner for eight in it.
There is also a washing machine.

Upstairs: Two bedrooms and bathroom

The larger bedroom contains a double bed.
There is a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a wash basin. One bedroom window looks across fields to the sea.The other window looks up to other cottages in Trenale. |

The smaller bedroom contains two single (2ft 6in) beds.
There is also a chest of drawers and hanging space. The window looks out onto the patio garden.
The bathroom contains a small bath.

This has been augmented with an electric shower. There is a wash-basin and toilet. There is also a multi-shelf airing cupboard The water heats overnight and can be boosted if required.  |
The landing window gives a splendid view over the neighbours garden and down over the fields to Tintagel.

The stone church seen on the cliff-top is the oldest in Cornwall. The coast stretches across to Port Isaac Bay. |

Outside is a small enclosed patio with garden furniture and barbecue. This is a sheltered sun-trap in the morning and early afternoon. There is space to park a car off the road, about 30m down the lane. There is both a telephone box and a postbox within yards of the garden gate. |
